Outreach in Madina
Praise God for the amazing results from our recent outdoor evangelism event in Madina! The three day “Join Us Concert” attracted a huge crowd of men and women from the community near the main Madina mosque. God’s anointing was mighty in our midst as we proclaimed the Gospel through music, dance, drama, testimony, and His Word. Please pray for all those who made decisions to follow Christ at this event. Ask the Lord to build them up in their faith and help them to break free from sinful habits and destructive relationships. Pray for strength for those who face persecution from Moslem family members and neighbors. Intercede for our church and our recently opened outreach center in Madina that we will continue to be a light to all those in darkness in this area.
AGM Liberia
A packed auditorium was on hand to witness the dedication of our new church building in Monrovia, Liberia last month. The church has passed through civil war, persecution, and many trials – but today stands strong as a testimony to God’s faithfulness. What a joy it was to be there in person and hear the testimonies of salvation, deliverance, and answered prayers from the pastors and members. Please pray for the overseer of Agape Gospel Mission in Liberia, Rev. Arthur David, and Pastors William Kordah and Julius Kennedy. Ask the Lord to use this new auditorium to attract many new souls to Christ and the church. Pray for financial provision for God’s people in Liberia, as the nation continues to rebuild from civil war.
New Term at ABC
“I am who I am today because of God’s grace and the training I received at Agape Bible College,” declared Pastor Ezekiel at a recent meeting of ABC alumni. Every one of the graduates at the meeting is now in full-time ministry, and all testified about the mighty impact ABC has had on their lives and ministries. Please pray for the school as we work to recruit new students for our next term beginning in April. Ask God to draw men and women from all over West Africa to come and train at ABC. Pray for the faculty, staff and students to experience new depths of spiritual fervor as we seek to glorify Him and advance His kingdom here on earth.
The Lord is Our Provider
The declining value of the US dollar is having a worldwide impact on the efforts of US missionaries and their ministries. Our operating costs in Ghana have soared lately, as we pay nearly $6 per gallon for gasoline. The government recently raised our electricity rate by 300%! Please pray for our financial condition, that God will supply all our needs and our outreach will not suffer due to lack of funding. Pray for our donors to be blessed and to remain generous in their support. Ask God to bless the two cottage industries we’ve begun (rabbit farming and water supply). Pray that new donors will pledge to support AGM and that we will have favor with companies, organizations, churches, and individuals when we present projects for funding.
Easter Conventions
Our churches across West Africa will be holding special conventions and services during the Easter period. Intercede for all our members traveling to these events – ask God to keep them safe on the notoriously dangerous African roads. Pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in all the services. Ask God to meet us in new and fresh ways that we may be empowered even more to take the good news of His resurrection to the world.
