June Outreach - JOIN US

The Agape House New Testament Church will be holding several evangelism outreaches in the middle of June. A youth team from Church of the King in New Orleans will join us to hold Gospel rallies on local high school campuses. We'll also conduct a two-night Join Us Concert featuring music, drama, dance, and ministry. Intercede for the students and community residents who will be impacted by these events. Pray for anointing on the team from the US along with our own local staff. Ask God to knit us together in unity and love as we cross cultural barriers to work together for Christ and His Kingdom.

Youth Rally

14,000 youth are expected to attend the Scripture Union National Youth Rally in Accra on July 1st. Rick will be the main speaker at this vital event. Please pray for Rick as he prepares and delivers God's Word to the thousands of young people coming from around the nation. Ask God to give him the right message for the hour and for wisdom to make it relevant to today's Ghanaian teenager. Intercede for the young people to hear and receive God's truth, and to respond in obedience to His call. Seek the Lord for good weather for this outdoor event and for attendance to exceed the organizer's expectations.

Changes at Agape Bible College

Agape Bible College needs your fervent prayers this month as we grapple with the resignation of our Principal. Rev. Yaw Takyi had served the school for the past three years, but has now felt led to move on to focus his efforts on working with a network of churches. Please pray for the Vice Principal, Rev. Emmanuel Doku, and the rest of the staff as they step in and handle more responsibilities. Ask God to guide the Governing Council of ABC as we seek to fill the Principal's position. Pray for the students as they prepare to return to campus next month for our next term of studies. Ask the Lord to bring in many new students and to bless the work of the College as we train laborers for the harvest.

Agape Academy

The Agape Academy is making significant progress as we expand the school from Kindergarten to 12th grade! Our high school students are now in preparatory classes to enable them to begin studies full-time in the Fall. A good number of teaching positions have been filled, and AGM missionary Lois Ebersole is working hard alongside Donna to organize the classes and to order the textbooks and resources needed for the next semester. Please pray for the Lord to send us teachers to fill the remaining vacancies. We also have an urgent financial need for the Academy so that we can pay for the books and supplies now which are needed in the Fall. Please seek the Lord for His provision for our kids, for the school, and for the Agape Children's Home in general. This Home is a miracle in itself, and we can't stop praising God for all He's done and continues to do at ACH. Ask God to keep the miracles coming!

July 7-27 AGM Prayer Vigil

Please join us at Agape Gospel Mission as we spend 21 days in fasting and prayer in July. We'll be seeking the Lord for His blessing, favor, guidance, provision, and power during the last half of 2008.

Our three week prayer vigil begins Monday July 7th and will end Sunday July 27th. You can sign up to join us for a day, a group of days, a week - or the entire 21 days!
