Campus Outreach in August
As college students return back to school this month, AGM workers will be on area campuses witnessing and inviting students to the Agape House New Testament Church. The College and Career Fellowship (CCF) of this vibrant church is involved in the outreaches, targeting unbelievers and those without any strong church affiliation. Workers will introduce CCF and the church to both new and returning students. The main outreaches will start August 4 and culminate in a breakfast meeting August 23. Pray for God's Spirit to bring in a harvest of souls at the University of Ghana Legon, and at the Institute of Professional Studies. Ask God to give us favor with school officials as we seek to establish the ministry as an official campus organization. Intercede for students who are lost in idolatry, witchcraft, fornication, and every wicked thing God despises. Ask God to grant them repentance so that revival will break out on campus. Pray for divine appointments to occur as AGM workers penetrate the darkness with the good news!
AG Ghana National Convention
Rick will be the main speaker at the Assemblies of God Ghana General Council Meeting August 4-8. The theme for this year's national convention is "I Will Pour Out My Spirit on all Flesh" (Joel 2:28). Praise God for this awesome opportunity to minister the Word to a national audience. Pray for God's strength to sustain Rick as he preaches six times throughout the week. Intercede for safe travels and to be with his family as he is away for the week. Ask God to anoint him to bring the message of revival to all who attend. We are believing God for saved souls and transformed lives through the power of the Holy Spirit!
Conferences in Nigeria
We praise God for Pastor Chris Marere, head of the AGM churches in Nigeria. He recently spent over a week in Ghana ministering at the Agape House New Testament Church, and God moved mightily! Pastor Chris is now preparing for conferences in Nigeria August 14-17. The National Women's Conference has the theme, "That I May Know Him." Pray that this conference will deepen the spiritual walk of the women in the church, and take them to the next level in Christ. Also intercede for a leadership conference occurring at the same time. The theme is "God's Expectation Must Become My Fascination." Agree with us in prayer for the leaders attending to be challenged and equipped for greater works.
